Ambulance

The ambulance was a vehicle designed for transporting sick or injured people[1]. The Department of Health ran fleets of them for their medical hospitals like Jacinto Med.

Assault Derrick

Derricks (or the militarized version Assault Derrick or Rig for short) were originally designed for mining Imulsion. However, for Operation Hollow Storm, the COG reassigned them to be troop transports. They were used by the Coalition of Ordered Governments to carry Grind Lifts for mining into Locust tunnels. It was seen taking part in Operation Hollow Storm and many were lost on the road to Landown. For defense, the Derrick had a single mounted Chain Gun, and a modest complement of Gears.

Grindlift

Now the Locust are back and they're meaner than ever. And they've brought with them a force that can essentially sink entire cities. So humanity's back is against the wall, and we need to strike back against these guys. So the way that we do that is by taking these trucks called Derricks and we tow these devices called Grindlifts into Locust-occupied cities. The COG Guys get in the Grindlifts, they barrel down into the depths of the Underground and fight back against these bad guys."

King Raven

The King Raven was the backbone of the COG air corps. Being in service since the late years of the Pendulum Wars, the King Raven has also seen action in the Human-Locust War. It's main use is transporting Gears into conflicts. An example of a King Raven name is KR Seven-Zero.

Laverne

Laverne, was a stripped down version of the standard APC used by the Stranded. Stripped of most of its armor and standard weaponry, the Junker was instead outfitted for the needs of the Stranded. In that case, the Stranded armed the Junker with a UV Turret to take care of Kryll which infested the streets of Ephyra at night. Laverne has obviously been used often and has been worn out because of that. Its power source is only able to supply power to either the UV Turret or the engine but not both simultaneously. Owned originally by Franklin, the vehicle was later given by him to the members of Delta Squad who also had a use for the vehicle, during the Lightmass Offensive.

Silverback

The Silverback was origanally a loader mech suit but later it was militarized. The Silverback comes equipped with a rocket launcher on one arm and a gatling gun on the other. The Silverback is able to be equipped with other weapons. It has the ability to spread its leg armor out, effectively creating cover for other COG soldiers to hide behind, but at the cost of movement

Locust Gunboat

The Locust gunboat is a naval vehicle designed and used by the Locust Horde. The gunboats are used to traverse the underground lakes of the Hollow, as well as to patrol the "shorelines" and engage enemies in these areas. Gunboats are capable of moving at high speeds, and are pulled along by a pair of large aquatic creatures that resemble orcas with Reaver-like eyes and whale-like fins. These unnamed creatures display resilience to damage similar to that of Rockworms. Because of this lack of a conventional engine, the boats make little noise and are capable of moves that normal boats would not allow, such as sideways or diagonal motion.

The boat itself is basically a large metal raft with a steering lever and an open cargo area leaving little cover for the crew. On-board armament consists of two Troikas and whatever weapons the crew happen to carry.

Tyro Pillar

The Tyro Pillar[1][2] a Mag-lev train carrying the Lightmass Bomb in Act 5: Desperation, of Gears of War. The train is astoundingly fast and was later infested with Locust. Presumably, before Emergence Day, it would have been a commercial train, carrying passengers and cargo due to the variety and quantity of carriages that it pulls. The very front of the train carried the Lightmass Bomb and the now deceased Locust General, RAAM.
